That could work, but for a really great and even coverage, you should get the brush. I use it and its so soft and gentle I never use any different makeup brushes anymore!Do I have to use a Kabuki brush or can I use a sponge? for my everyday minerals foundation?
I can't see that the sponge would apply the mineral powder correctly. I would use the kabuki brush. Keeping it clean I think is the best secret to having a nice soft fluffy brush. I wash mine every few weeks with baby shampoo and it's so nice and soft. You can blow dry on low heat or let it air dry. Best of luck with whichever you coose, it's the greatest make available-huh! I love it.
Well common sense would tell you that the sponge would suck alot of the make-up and not let so much out when you try to put it on. Get the brush.
Why don't you see what results you achieve with your sponge first. If you are not happy you can always get the brush at a later date. There are also a lot of other brush alternatives. CVS has a lot of nice decently priced brushes that you could try. Good luck!!!!
It doesn't have to be a kabuki brush but a blush brush or powder brush can be used as well. Just follow the rule of swirl, tap and buff. Do not use a sponge because the minerals would just seeped into the sponge or fall off.
you can use any brush. where i work we sell all the bare minerals products and many people complain that the bristles fall out really easy.
