I've heard great reviews on both brushes. I'll be using them for contouring, highlighting, (sometimes bronzer and blush) and pressed powder foundation and i just wanted to know which one will be better suited for the job(s). It's really important to me that these brushes are eco-friendly and cruelty free, so unless there is another amazing brand that manufactures their brushes under these guidelines, i'd prefer to stick to these two brands as my options. Both brushes are cruelty free and environmentally friendly, and are also of great quality. I use both and while they are both super soft and don't shed, I find they are good for different purposes. Everyday minerals, being a mineral foundation company, makes their brushes specially for mineral make up users. They have products such as the domed and flat top kabuki which is great for buffing in powders. I use it for my pressed powder foundation and it works great to blend in the formula. Ecotools offers powder and blush brushes which work great too. The powder brush is great for dusting on finishing powder, but i've also used it for my mineral make up and its worked fine. The ecotools blush brush is a little smaller than i prefer, but it's great because you can use it both as a blusher and for contouring. Everyday minerals also has an angled blush brush that serves both purposes.
In my opinion, it all comes down to whether or not your using mineral makeup. Although the ecotools does work well with mineral makeup, the everyday minerals brushes are probably better suited for it since it it made specially for mineral users. Or you can even mix and match: use the everyday minerals kabuki and angled blush brush for finishing power and blush, and the ecotools powder brush for finishing powder and bronzer. They're both good brands. Both brushes have natural handles and synthetic fibers except Ecotools really promotes their brand as a all natural line. I really like the everyday minerals flat top brush.

Anybody use Everyday Minerals?
right now i'm using physicians formula mineral concealor, %26amp; foundation. i liked it at first, but not i feel like i'm not getting enough coverage. i have acne prone skin, so i want to use a mineral foundation. i don't have many bumps anymore, but i have a lot of red spots left over from my acne. i heard good thinks about everyday minerals so i was going to try the free sample. i was just wondering if those of you who use or have used everyday minerals liked it. did it give good coverage? did it make you break out? any experience is appreciated.

i bought the samples and use them, the color i picked matched my skin perfectly and had fairly good coverage and the concealer is amazing!! it is my most favorite concealer ever. I tried it until i was out of my sample which was about 3 days, overall i would say it is ok and a good price. to me personally it made my skin feel a little cakey and dry although it did not look it and i always put moisturizer on before i put on my makeup and i also dont have dry skin. But overall try out the sample pack and if it works for you definitely use it,

I actually use the Loreal brand of minerals, and it's wonderful! I have acne prone skin also, and i can only use a certain facewash(neutrogena grapefruit wash, which is great too! and they just came out with a new chamomile wash.) but, you're not asking about facewash, you're asking about the minerals. :) I absolutely love the loreal minerals, they come in so many different shades, and they work as a cover up also if you dip your finger in just a teeny bit and dot it onto the red spot, it will cover it before you use the brush to swirl the rest on your face. I'm not sure about the everyday minerals, but i will swear by the loreal brand! hope this helps!

Everyday minerals product still hasn't shipped!!?
I ordered Everyday Minerals products on Dec 9 at 9PM, it is now Dec 13th it just says Order Packed, it doesn't say whether it has shipped or not yet, it hasn't given me a tracking number for my order either, they already took the money out of my bank account...when will it ship?Everyday minerals product still hasn't shipped!!?

I had the same problem you did, I ordered on Sun. and on Thurs. it still said ';order packed';. I really wanted to get this stuff by Christmas so I sent them an email. It said something like '; I ordered on Sun. but it still says order packed so I was just wondering if it had been shipped yet.'; They sent me back one like an hour after I sent mine and told to send them my invoice # (the invoice number is on the track orders page) and she would make sure it shipped today.
I would send them another email in case they didn't get the first one, BUT they have two emails on their site. One goes to
shipping@everydayminerals.com THIS is the one that you need to send your email to. Also, check your spam folder to make sure that they didn't email you and it just got sent to the trash.Everyday minerals product still hasn't shipped!!?
the 9th was a sunday, your order probably didn't even get processed till monday (10th), it was packed on tue (11th), to be shipped later that day, or wednesday (12th). it is 4am on the 13th here, so you will have to wait a little longer. once it has been shipped, you can track it's progress, there logically can't be a tracking # before that happens. regular shipping (not rush) takes 7 to 10 business days, sometimes even longer during the holiday season. be patient, it'll get there.

i just bought that same brush but i can't say because i've never used another one before to compare to...but if you go to makeupalley.com it got top picks and people really raved about it...that's why i got it...people mostly said that it gave heavier coverage though...out of 192 reviews 91% said they would buy again...and its rating was 4.7 out of 5...hope this helps

Getting a full sized Everyday Minerals kit... what blush would suit my skin tone?
My match is Fair Neutral, and I want to wear a nice blush, but it's hard to tell what won't be too dark. I tried Morning Cup, and although it isn't bad, I definitely don't think it looks great for anything other than contour.
