I've used bare minerals in the past, and liked it, but it's too expensive for me right now. I've heard Everyday Minerals is good, and I know it's less expensive, but how is it compared to BE, I don't want to order it, and get disappointed.. Also, my mom was wanting to use it also, she is 50, how are the results on older women? Also, does anyone know how good their other products are, like the eyeshadows, and concealers? Thanks!Everyday Minerals brand good or bad?
I have used their products and liked them. The biggest difference between them and BE is that they have four different formulas of foundations-
Semi-Matte for normal to combination skin- a tiny bit of 'glow';
Matte-for normal to oily skin- it's well, matte
Intensive-ideal for all skin types- nearly matte, control oil but doesn't dry out your skin
Original Glo- for normal to dry skin- give a 'glow' closest thing to Bare Minerals
You can pick and choose depending on the look you are going for and your skin type. I have normal-oily skin and liked the Matte and Intensive formula the best.
Everyday Minerals do not contain Bismuth Oxychloride- which gives BE that creamy texture but a lot of people are allergic to it. They also have a ton more color foundation choices which BE lacks.
I would highly suggest that you give it a try- they offer free samples ( you do pay for shipping which I believe is no more than $5 ) You get 3 foundations, 1 blush and 1 concealers- they are sample sized and good for 3-6 applications. I have gotten the samples and proceeded to get one of their kits.
Other products?
I have used their Intensive Medium Concealer and it covers all my blemishes pretty well.
Blush- love Apple, Siesta, and Plum Dust ( which is very pigmented so only have to use a tiny bit .)
Finishing Dust Finishing Powder- it's basically the same as Bare Minerals Veil, I though it was OK- it didn't do much for me.Everyday Minerals brand good or bad?
i haven't tried bare minerals, but i use everyday minerals and i love it...the powder is really fine and it feels like i'm not wearing makeup at all, but i'm sure that's how bare minerals is, too...
you can actually order a free sample kit from their website and all you pay is like $4.00 for shipping...that's what i did and i'm going to order the full set once i run out...the website is www.everydayminerals.com
