I have acne prone skin, and it is a little oily.
Which kind of foundation is better?Which is better? Everyday Minerals or Physicians Formula Mineral Wear?
If I had to choose between the two I would say Physicians Formula. It has a better reputation for coverage. I would if going to go with a Mineral makeup
I would suggest Bare Minerals. The in Zinc Oxide in the foundation not only works as a sun screen but it's also a natural anti inflammatory. So it helps heal and treat acne and skin issues. Also sun exposure can increase acne so the sun screen is genius. Their setting/finishing powder Mineral Veil is corn starch based so it absorbs oil and controls shine without clogging your pores. It also does not cake so you can use it a thousand times a day and never have to worry about build up. If you are going to use another brand at least try the Mineral Veil. It is the best translucent powder I have tried.Which is better? Everyday Minerals or Physicians Formula Mineral Wear?
i have tried many mineral makeups. however, the only one that really sold me was bare minerals. if you have oily skin, make sure you use the mineral veil to absorb the oil. mineral makeups should not have talc in them. however, if you have oily skin, this may not be a bad ingredient for you; it will help absorb the oil. i would maybe go to a makeup counter and try various types of mineral makeup before making a purchase. even the drug store brands of mineral makeup are pricey.
mineral makeups are better for your skin and are great for summer time!
Here are some brands to try:
pur minerals (on line...not sure about stores)
jane iradale (sephora and on line...not sure about stores)
mac mineralize (on line, macy's and other dept. stores)
neutrogena (drug store)
loreal (drug store)
sheer cover (on line)
bare minerals (sephora, qvc, %26amp; on line)
simply karen (simplykaren.com)
laure mercier (sephora and on line)
if you have a sephora near you, you can go in and try a few and see how you like them.
you can also google mineral makeups on line and sample some, and then decide if you want the full size! unfortunately, makeup is one of those things you just have to try....to see what's best for YOU! good luck!!!
I have normal/combo skin that is prone to breakouts, especially in the summer, and I wear Revlon Colorstay for normal/oily skin. Never had a problem and I have been wearing it 10+ years now.
Bare minerals. It goes on much lighter. It blends better and it is easier on sensitive skin.
every day mierals for sure i use it and its terrific!
